LOGICDATA
5/2018 - 11/2019
As a part of the Business Unit Home I was working on the SILVERseries adjustable beds. During product development of the new SILVERlite adjustable bed I worked on product specifications, coordinated product design and naming, supported internal/external product marketing activities and specialized in accessories development such as sleep sensors. I also worked on sleep health and sleep topics in general as well as exploring entry into new markets for the SILVERseries products. Working on market intelligence (research, observation, competitor analysis, standards) I was especially focused on the European and the APAC region and took part in business development and sales activities. I fully supported product strategy of the company by generating ideas, providing input for product roadmap and preparing business models. My day to day activities also included support in product lifecycle management (product maintenance) by leading product changes throughout the organization. I took process ownership on design management and design thinking to gain expertise and provide the how to for the entire product management team and the organization.
Skaza

As a product manager I was responsible for creating and following product roadmap and product budget for Skaza Brand products. I worked on the products from concept through design and development to industrial production and delivery to consumer. I was responsible for the design direction of products, reviewing product functions, samples, prototypes and keeping on with the product timeline and budget. My day to day responsibilities also included creating business canvas models, briefs for designers, briefs for R&D, market research, benchmarking, reviewing designs, 3D models and prototypes. The projects I was working on at this time included the Pick & Go Cutlery set and the Bokashi Organko 2 kitchen composter.
Gorenje
7/2012 - 7/2017
I started working in R&D cooling appliances department as an Engineering Designer. I was involved with the process of developing a product - cooling appliances (refrigerators, freezers, can coolers) all the way from a design concept to industrial production. I was involved in user research and collaborated with designers to develop concepts and make 3D models to deliver first prototypes and presentations to management. In my day to day activities I worked with different teams across the company (design, production, laboratory, product management, purchase, investments) as well as suppliers and toolmakers outside the company. Combining industrial design and mechanical engineering I mostly developed visible components such as drawers, doors, handles and accessories. My responsibilities included keeping track with the timeline, costs, material selection and documentation. Most notable project in this time was the collaboration with Red Bull on a new generation Can Cooler.
From 7/2015 I worked as a Chief Engineer. With my new role I took lead in a project with the designer Philippe Starck on a range of home appliances. My responsibility was developing a multi use handle (same design mounted on refrigerator, oven and dishwasher), coordinating all the task within teams, keeping track with the timeline, costs, material selection and documentation. At this time I also worked on a new generation of built in refrigerators and on an Augmented Reality project which was a part of the Managers Academy. The Managers Academy was part of Gorenje Corporate University where I was recognized as a prospective employee and selected to be a part of Managers Academy to develop managing skills, learn about business models and entrepreneurship skills.
